Would you like to acquire a kitty?
If the answer is YES, then, I will afford a small lyrical digression (for more details – see book
“Everything about the cat” by David Taylor).
Before you make your decision and a mewing charge appears in your house, one should ask themselves the following questions:
What other animals do you have and what relations can there be between them?
If you’re going to let your cat walk on its own, is it possible to fit a special device (a small flap-door) for an easy get-in and out?
Do you have enough time and patience for regular combing, if your charge has long hair?
Can you afford buying all necessary inventories and are you ready for expenses on good-quality cat food and vet-services (both in preventive and emergency cases)?
First of all, you should decide, what cat will do very well with you and for what cat you will do.
Of course, if you are going to take part in different exhibitions or start breeding, then you will obviously need a purebred
one. But keep in mind that it’s impossible to find “the-best-of-all” cat, they are all individual, and all of them are real aristocrats.
